Totally awesome birds.
We Phoenicians complain of the cold when it dips down into the 50-degree range and we can't wear flip-flops anymore.
I hope you get to see some birds despite the cold, but if not I guess they'll be waiting for you in Texas.
One of the best birding spots I've ever been to is in Harlingen, where the Green Jays and Altamira Orioles abound.Laurence Butlerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14766876797454283812noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5791077723521794200.post-72157652568052169012011-11-06T06:21:58.781-07:002011-11-06T06:21:58.781-07:00A wonderful walk! I just love the shot of the snowy egret, but find the rest of the pictures to be quite enjoyable, too. We don't have mockingbirds up here in Cape Breton, but when I travel down to TX for the winter, I see plenty. They make me laugh. Hope you are having a nice weekend, despite the cold. Temps here are hovering just above freezing now.KaHollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02528677007819875856noreply@blogger.com
