I don't see them too much in Phoenix (in fact, never within the city), so it's still a great treat every time one pops up on a hike or something and reminds me of its charming existence.

Thanks for stopping by Alison.Laurence Butlerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14766876797454283812noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5791077723521794200.post-21829533983902347252012-05-03T23:06:34.565-07:002012-05-03T23:06:34.565-07:00My Bewick's wrens are my favorite. And sometimes I do really focus on the photography part of birding. When I am out a big day type of trip, I usually don't spend a lot of time focusing on photography much. I'll take whatever I get and what comes easily, but I go right back into listing mode.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11333731452974780237noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5791077723521794200.post-55043845890429321172012-02-24T06:01:32.393-07:002012-02-24T06:01:32.393-07:00What a wonderful little Wren Laurence! What a wonderful little Wren Laurence!Mia McPhersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01613385411156245829noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5791077723521794200.post-44720479573451606912012-02-23T19:50:40.209-07:002012-02-23T19:50:40.209-07:00Nice! They are occasionally seen in Idaho and Utah, but I've missed them. It was so good to get reacquainted with the Bewick's Wren...even if I didn't get any photos of the buggers.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11333731452974780237noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5791077723521794200.post-11508560632734523992012-02-23T08:08:19.475-07:002012-02-23T08:08:19.475-07:00Thank you Carole. As you said, they're much more often heard before they're seen, and it's reassuring to know these busy birds carry on their adventures in the undergrowth. I'm always surprised by how often a bird-less area turns out to be quite birdy indeed, it just takes some time to find the Wrens.Laurence Butlerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14766876797454283812noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5791077723521794200.post-83162871838802688442012-02-23T07:03:52.230-07:002012-02-23T07:03:52.230-07:00They may not be much to look at??
