That NOPA back!

Maybe Phoenix Green Herons ingest too much of that recycled pond water, affecting their brain development and response rate to stimuli? What you saw at GCSP seems pretty typical IMO.Josh Wallestadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12547530391406974019noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5791077723521794200.post-30728126314455253212018-07-24T19:06:44.321-07:002018-07-24T19:06:44.321-07:00Thanks Jen,

I know, I know..."Be a better birder" comes up time and again, but I just can't seem to find the way!
GCSP poses a conundrum in that I could park near the entrance and walk in before 8:00am (presumably without getting in trouble), but the different habitats are all a decent distance apart, so I would lost a lot of time moving from one to the other.
Damned if I do and damned if I don't. Dammit!Laurence Butlerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14766876797454283812noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5791077723521794200.post-75893683978426383012018-07-24T16:41:29.035-07:002018-07-24T16:41:29.035-07:00Definitely looks like some good potential there. ...Definitely looks like some good potential there. My old patch opened its gates at 8:00 as well, but thankfully there is exactly one parking spot about a quarter mile up the road that I used to get there at a more reasonable hour.

Sweet crushes of those ridiculous boardwalk birds!Jen Sanfordhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08932953314258705622noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5791077723521794200.post-85625711655801144012018-07-23T18:55:45.320-07:002018-07-23T18:55:45.320-07:00Sounds good Jamie, I hope it works out soon.

I do plan to get there some day. Look me up if you ever make it to Wilmington, the shorebird migration seems to be starting up. The trick is getting to the beach at high tide when there is not 400 rednecks doing donuts in the sand with their 4x4s.Jamie Adamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02865386365395215583noreply@blogger.com
