There were a few in Savannah earlier this year, but the hunters were out whenever we tried for them, and I'm pretty sure they were all shot by the end of the season. I trust we'll both have better luck in good time.<br /><br />Picasso's blue period has got nothing on that Eared Grebe photo of yours. About a month ago I found a rar...I feel your pain. About a month ago I found a rarity, a White-winged Scoter, that brought in scores of county listers. One fellow turned up a Long-tailed Duck at the Scoter spot one morning when I was at work. I could have made it work to ditch out for an hour to go see it but instead decided to be responsible and see it after work. It wasn't there. The salt in the wound was that I found out I drove by a Snowy Owl on the way without knowing it. Other vagrants have been a balm of sorts. Hopefully you get some good vagrant action to ease your pain.<br /><br />Nice job on that Sora.
