I have a checklist from my graduate ornithology professor for all the birds common to the state and the rarer ones seen by his ornithology class. So that's what I use to keep track of my sightings, in the state anyway. And just modify the list when I see species that weren't included (i.e. sandhill crane)<br /><br />You know... if I didn't know the AZ birds in 2009 then, why would I know them now?
