This reminded me of the time I went looking for the Smith's Longspur last fall and when I got there, the fields were full of Horned Larks, Lark Buntings, Meadowlarks, and even found a couple of Lark Sparrows. Guess it was a 'Lark' day back then.Gordonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13931448617460317916noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5791077723521794200.post-21218042831881162002012-05-13T18:06:16.323-07:002012-05-13T18:06:16.323-07:00Thanks for stopping by Chris. I'm looking forward to catching up on my bird blogs, and yours is always at the top of my list.Laurence Butlerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14766876797454283812noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5791077723521794200.post-90927228146999725862012-05-13T10:28:03.108-07:002012-05-13T10:28:03.108-07:00Glad you did Laurence. I just don't like the part where I talk to myself while doing my shots.....I don't even know I'm doing it! Last night I went after that Yellow Warbler again.....found him....but how many hours of tracking and WAITING! And the shots are still not the greatest...oh well:) My post today is human based but I have a video from Panama that features birds from our trip...so that might be interesting for you. Panama is awesome for birding....and very humid right now now until November....but the best birding places I have found on this planet....so far:)Rohrerbothttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02136631378931478644noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5791077723521794200.post-55443271430032788402012-05-12T11:56:50.953-07:002012-05-12T11:56:50.953-07:00That's how we know you're for real Mia! Even when they approach, it's never slithering.

When feeders aren't involved, the birder/bird relationship is such a one-way affair.Laurence Butlerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14766876797454283812noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5791077723521794200.post-12449660743879096172012-05-11T16:01:50.685-07:002012-05-11T16:01:50.685-07:00If only the birds would come crawling and slitheri...If only the birds would come crawling and slithering to see us, for once!
